At Angry Orchard we use the ripest apples, harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality. The result is a distinctly crisp and refreshing cider. We think you'll taste the difference.

Want to try something different this Thanksgiving? Give this Angry Orchard Apple Ginger brine a try!

Recipe for the brine:
4 Bottles of Angry Orchard Apple Ginger
2 cups kosher salt
1 cup sugar
Couple of bay leaves
A few bunches of thyme
3 each of peeled onions, celery stocks, carrots, garlic cloves; chopped
2 lemons quartered
4 quarts of water

Boil everything but the water in a pot for 10 minutes or so. Remove it from the heat, add the water and let it cool in the fridge. Once it is chilled add in your bird. Put it back in the fridge for 24-48+ hours.

When you are ready to cook, preheat the oven to 350, pull the turkey out of the brine and pat it dry with some paper towels. Cook it until the thigh meat hits 160-165 degrees (a 16-20lb bird takes about 3.5-4 hours)

Let us know how it comes out!
